SKIN BOOSTERS
Home / Skin Boosters
Are skin boosters the same as fillers?
No. Skin boosters are designed to improve skin quality and hydration, whereas dermal fillers are used to restore or add volume to specific facial areas.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients benefit from 2–3 sessions, usually spaced 2–4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments as advised.
Which skin boosters can be used around the eyes?
Suitable treatments for the delicate eye area include:
• NCTF
• Polynucleotides
• Juvelook
Profhilo is not typically used directly in the under-eye region.
Is there any downtime?
Small injection points or temporary bumps may be visible immediately after treatment but typically settle within a few hours. As with any injectable treatment, there is a small risk of mild bruising.
Most patients return to normal activities the same day.
